Juniata II Shipwreck Tea Towel

A former oil tanker torpedoed in the first world war, rebuilt and finally used as a block ship to protect Scapa Flow, Juniata now lies in Inganess Bay.  It is fascinating to see how something so old and derelict on the surface is actually a home to an abundance of marine life.

All items are send it unbranded, discrete cardboard boxes. Jewellery
orders are packaged in recyclable branded navy cardboard jewellery boxes
and we've replaced most of our plastic foam inserts with organic cotton
pouches. The pouches can be kept and are a great way to store your
jewellery long term.

Gift Wrapping

You
can choose to have your items wrapped in our gorgeous 1930s-style, hand
screen printed paper was created especially for us by William of Vintage paper Co. in Orkney.

The
ribbon we use to complete our wrapping is ethically recycled from waste
plastic bottles, which would otherwise have been thrown into landfill
or the ocean.

You can therefore rest assured that when you buy a
gift from Alison Moore every effort is taken to make sure it is packaged
and wrapped in the most environmentally sustainably way we can –
without compromising on the quality and style you have come to expect
